About Me

Hello! My name is Ross Mole and welcome to my blog on world politics and events. I am a Law Graduate from Northumbria University and have always had a strong interest in justice, the environment and politics. Additionally, I am an existentialist, believing that life has no intrinsic meaning, but you can make one for yourself through the life you lead.

I've become increasingly inspired to write over the years because I believe that the world is becoming a darker place. It's time that reasoned voices came out against the rise of the far right, the rise of terrorism and the rise of the corporate nature of our world.  I have strong left wing beliefs in a time when I think they are becoming ever more vilified by those in power. I am worried about the direction the world is heading and the fact that it will be my generation that will be left with whatever the current generation leave behind.

I want to encourage people to question what they are told. Consider who said it, why they said it, when they said it and how they said it. Every piece of information we receive is told from a point of view and it is up to the reader, to decide how they receive it. Don't accept a newspaper headline just by reading it. Research the issue and make a reasoned decision yourself. The interests of others are not necessarily your own. I am more than willing to accept and debate dissenting opinions on my posts as there is never one right answer, just facts and opinions.
